I'm drawn in by the beauty of old buildings, the secret history left within the structures and the people that previously or currently inhabit them.

Beneath my socially-acceptable exterior, a realm of intricate emotions occasionally finds expression in unconventional and intriguing ways.

My work is an extension of Neo-Expressionism in that it speaks of primal human desires through the senses and deals with a multilayered self in which subject and object are inseparable.

Art is about life. Art is about how we see, perceive, and are aware of the things around us. To me, everything is art.

I see people's indigenous ancestors even when they don't themselves. Through my painting, I grapple with the complexities of my Indigenous and Latinx-American identity.

Through my work on water-related landscapes, I seek out sensations that are outside of the usual synesthesia that the human body frequently experiences.
